We've all played Asteroids, Defender, or any other 2D spaceship game at some point in our lives, but have you ever played one where the enemies (or asteroids) are real people all over the world fighting back? Our slogan "Meet people from all over the world... Then kill them!" while originally controversial, still lives up to its meaning today.

While all the popular servers now are in the United States, SubSpace still attracts thousands of players worldwide from countries like India, Australia, China, Japan, Estonia, Sweeden, The Netherlands, Brazil, Isreal, and Canada just to name a few.



Continuum, the new client for SubSpace released in 2001, was coded with total customization in mind. This customization is not only possible for the player, but for the zones themselves.

This allowed us to create not just a spaceship game, but to clone games like Infantry, Counter Strike, Super Mario, and many others into our 2d world, and give our players more than they could have ever imagined in 1 package. Every graphic in game is replaceable, and modifiable by the zone, allowing anything you can imagine to be possible.

On the player end, you can also use your own custom client skin, ship graphics, bomb graphics, etc. If it is seen on your screen, it can almost surely be customized, or atleast have the color of it modified to suit your style or needs. Originally starting out with just a few zones, our community has grown into 60+ different games to play in 1 easy to download package! Unlike most games where the actual player settings are all the same on every server, just the gameplay itself being slightly modifiable, almost every setting in SubSpace can be tweaked and changed by the zone.

No 2 zones are alike, and every zone caters to different styles of gameplay. Warzone Flagging, Capture the Flag, Turf, and Soccer are just a few you will find as you venture around the servers looking for a zone you'll call home.



We were once called "The Most Addictive Game You Don't Know About", and that is something that stands true. Our players don't just play the game to play it, there is IRC like chatting, chat channels, squads, and whole communities built around zones just to keep you involved when your not in the game. We promise you that once you play SubSpace, you won't ever be able to uninstall it without returning back again.
